The Sam Houston Freshman baseball team beat
the Sulphur JV team 4-2 Friday night at the
Merryville Tournament. Sulphur scored 2 runs
on 1 hit during the 1st inning. SHHS
answered right back with 2 runs on a double
by Peterson and a single and RBI by
Campbell. SHHS held Sulphur the rest of the
game.
During the 2nd inning, SHHS scored 2 more runs on a single and RBI from Peterson. Dalton pitched 5 innings, striking out 8 batters and allowed only 1 hit. |
