The Broncos JV was lead by a strong complete game pitching performance from Tyler D. For the 7 innings he pitched, he gave up only 4 or 5 hits. He showed good control and had the Tors off balance with his curve that was breaking nicely. The Broncos JV was lead in hitting by Tyler R. with two hits, one being a double that drove in two runs. Also with hits were Dono L. with a hit up the middle to go with two walks, and Brett L. with a shot to left field which allowed him to score later. Most everyone else made contact which resulted in several errant throws by the Sulphur JV infield. Defensively, the Broncos JV had a pretty solid game; there were some nice scoops made by our alternating first basemen on some throws by some of our other infielders. There was little action in the outfield due to Tyler's pitching; three routine hits to right field, one rather deep one to left field, one deep fly to center, and that was about it.
